Longer Courses for Adults (minimum 8 weeks)

It is possible to attend the College for 3-9 months, in order to prepare for examinations, or simply to achieve a good working knowledge of English.

Our 10 and 12 week Cambridge programmes start in March and September each year. Students are given a combination of General English and focused examination preparation by our experienced exam course tutors. The exams take place in Jersey at the end of the programme.

It is also possible to prepare for other international English examinations (E.g. IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC) as part of an overall longer General English programme with some private lessons focusing on specific examination practice.

Cambridge English Examination Courses

(All classes - maximum 9 students). Minimum level of English: Intermediate - Upper Intermediate*

Cambridge 20 / 30
Starting March and September
20 or 30 lessons per week focused on preparation for the Cambridge First Certificate (FCE) or Cambridge Advanced (CAE)
Includes activity and social programme.
*Students will be given a pre-test before enrolling

(All classes - maximum 9 students).

Students can take a longer General English course with some private tuition focused on preparation for the examination of their choice. Minimum level of English required and overall course length will depend on the individual student's goals. The school can also assist students who need to book examinations in the UK (E.g. IELTS).
